Golden October brings sweet osmanthus fragrance. At noon on October 11, under crisp autumn skies, a lovely sight appeared once again in Tong’an Subdistrict: Good‑Ark volunteers set off fully equipped for a street clean‑up activity.

Carrying tools and recycling bags, they split into two teams and got down to work with great energy. Along the way, they bent to pick up waste paper, fruit peels, cigarette butts and other litter. Even rubbish hidden among green belts could not escape their sharp eyes; they stopped and leaned over to clear every corner. Living up to the spirit of thoroughness, each piece they picked helped rid the streets of clutter. As they worked, their bags filled up steadily with “treasures”. When they looked back, the pavements took on a fresh new look, and the roadside green belts, no longer marred by litter, glowed with lush vitality.
