- About us
Blood is the source of life, and love is the dawn of life. As the familiar lyric goes: “If everyone gives a little love, the world will turn into a beautiful place.”
Voluntary unpaid blood donation is a meaningful public welfare activity to secure clinical blood supply for medical treatment. Upon the joint call of the Good‑Ark Party Branch, the Company Trade Union, the Family Culture Governance Center and all branch secretaries, seventy‑five volunteers signed up for blood donation. Even after the volunteer list was released, many more family members still wished to register. On August 3, the day of donation, Good‑Ark volunteers travelled to Tong’an Town Government in eco‑friendly ways, by public transport or bicycle.
Neat queues reflected the fine manners and spirited demeanour of Good‑Ark family members. Their bright smiles revealed sincere enthusiasm for public good. They waited in line orderly to complete paperwork, blood pressure checks and blood screening. Qualified donors then proceeded to the blood donation vehicle.
Good‑Ark people shone everywhere: at the registration desk on the second floor, the blood pressure station on the first floor, and aboard the bloodmobile. Manager Zhu from the Power Device Division and Li Tao, an honoured stem cell donor, took the lead and encouraged others to join. Over forty women were among the volunteers. They stayed calm throughout the process. Some even volunteered to donate 400 ml simply because they wanted to contribute more to others and society. Their selfless and noble spirit deserves high praise.
Voluntary blood donation is a noble act that saves lives. It embodies loving dedication, relieving patients from suffering and saving lives — a value that cannot be measured by money. It is our sincere hope that more people will learn about unpaid blood donation, approach it with scientific understanding, and join this cause with healthy bodies and positive minds.
