- About us
On the morning of July 19, the Company’s Healthy Low‑Carbon Cuisine Contest, led by the Family Culture Governance Center and jointly organised by all branches, was grandly held at the Headquarters Happiness Canteen.
More than twenty participating family members arrived early. Some brought their “secret weapons”: their trusted cutting boards for smooth chopping, pre‑fermented dough for steamed buns, and special ingredients from their hometowns. Their earnest dedication was plain to see.
With aprons tied and hats on, they looked just like seasoned chefs. After picking their ingredients, they plunged straight into the intense competition. Chopping, pouring oil, stir‑frying, deep‑frying, plating, glazing and garnishing — every step unfolded in an orderly, delightful rhythm.
The contestants prepared a rich variety of distinctive dishes. Several competitors with superb knife skills drew everyone’s gaze: would you believe that cucumbers can be shaped into elegant lotus leaves or slender bamboo? With nimble hands and wonderful creativity, nearly anything is possible.
Each dish carries the chef’s life experience. How much oil or salt to add, how to season, and when to turn down the heat are summaries of past experience, as well as heartfelt wishes for the future. “Surplus Year after Year” and “Plentiful Harvest” pray for favourable weather, full granaries and happy lives for all; “Joy Comes with Blessings” and “Adding Flowers to Brocade” wish everyone joy each day and ever‑growing goodness.

“Hometown Yearning” instantly evokes memories of faraway hometowns and endless longing. This simple dish uses dried radish, bird’s eye chillies and red chillies. Shen Yixiao shared: “This recipe comes from my grandmother. The dried radish was brought from my hometown. For me, it is the taste of home, deep and unforgettable.”
One after another, colourful, fragrant dishes made their grand appearance. The tempting aroma made everyone eager to take a bite.
Our senior leader visited the site to offer encouragement: “Thank you all for joining this Healthy Low‑Carbon Cuisine Contest. Promoting healthy low‑carbon meals and nutritious eating is a goal the company keeps pursuing. We hope this will inspire more families in the days ahead.”
Judging began! Each judge received ten “thumbs‑up” stickers. After tasting all dishes, they could award one sticker to their ten favourite entries. Rankings were determined by the total number of thumbs‑up each dish received.
Amid eager anticipation, the winners were announced. Let us applaud every contestant!
