June 5, 2023 marked the 52nd World Environment Day. Branches of the main factory went into the community to carry out activities including eco-enzyme making, reusable bag distribution and environmental care.

Volunteers rolled up their sleeves and made eco-enzyme together with the elderly residents.

Finally, screw the cap tight, draw a marker and write down the date when the eco-enzyme was made!

Looking at the eco-enzyme they had made by hand, the elderly participants said excitedly: “We never knew it was this easy. From now on, we won’t throw away leftover vegetable leaves and fruit peels at home; we can turn them into eco-enzyme instead.”

Another team of Good‑Ark volunteers set up at the entrance of Tong’an Market to hand out reusable shopping bags free of charge, encouraging local residents to cut down their use of disposable plastic bags.

With reusable bags in hand, volunteers cleaned up the surroundings of Tong’an Community. Protecting our beautiful home is our shared aspiration.

They wiped dust off the frames, cleaned and lubricated chains and gears for smoother rides.

With tender care, the shared bicycles looked brand new. Seeing the fruits of their labour, everyone wore bright smiles. If we keep an altruistic heart at all times, life will become more meaningful!
