Reading a fine book is like conversing with a wise soul: it keeps you clear‑headed in prosperity, fills you with hope amid confusion, instils confidence in adversity, and grants you strength as you chase your dreams.

At noon on May 24, a charity book donation event themed “Community‑Enterprise Love Relay, Building a Book‑Friendly Garden” was held in the Happy Dining Hall at the company headquarters. Every good book carries power. Let us join hands to support and boost cultural development at Xinjie Community in Tong’an Town, Suzhou High‑Tech Zone!

Volunteers had rolled out promotions in advance and made thorough preparations for the event. Look, our family members arrive with stacks of books in their arms. While donating, many enthusiastically shared the origin, content and features of their books.

Some family members shared: “I bought this book years ago; it inspired me greatly. Now I hope to pass it on to more readers. Truly, finding new readers is its best destination.” “I once had questions and hoped this book would bring answers. Fortunately, it offered fresh perspectives and broadened my mind.”

Guided by books as beacons, people keep exploring and broadening the spectrum of life. Through reading, many rise above the mundane and gather inner strength to move upward. Within the ocean of books lie scenes far more vivid than those before our eyes.

Volunteers carefully sorted and packed the books by size and category, totalling 186 volumes. The donated collection covers a wide range: essays, novels, children’s literature, philosophy, ancient classics, comics and more, catering to readers of all ages. Both adults and children may find works that spark their interest.

Community and enterprise build together; the fragrance of books nurtures dreams. Xi Jinping has spoken many times of his love for reading. He notes that reading “keeps one’s mind active, provides inspiration and wisdom, and nurtures a noble spirit.”

Read widely, read fine books and read classics. Nothing carries the fragrance of books farther than this!
