Smiling greetings form an important part of our family culture. It is a common sight at the factory gate to see senior members leading other family members to greet staff arriving for and leaving work with smiles, passing along the warmth of home.

Ahead of World Smile Day, our family members travelled around the factory campus to capture smiling faces at work and encouraged one another to stay positive and optimistic.

“Have you smiled today?” To be kind means treating ourselves and others well; it also means cherishing our work, the products we make, and all things around us. Only in this way can we enjoy every day and build a harmonious, united and supportive big family.

On May 8, World Smile Day, branches of the main factory jointly organised a smile promotion campaign. A smile is far more than an expression; it is a natural bond that connects people and the finest way to ease tensions. Smiles make the world warmer and more beautiful.

As the saying goes, “A smile keeps you young.” Dear family members: if you are quiet by nature, try smiling more; if troubles weigh on you, try smiling more; when you look into the mirror each morning, try smiling more… Share your joy and brighten the world around you. As an Indian poet once wrote: “When a man smiles, the world falls in love with him. True wealth is the smile on your face.”

One family member shared that a smile conveys cheer and kindness to others. A gentle, sincere smile often speaks louder and carries more charm than words. Let us smile each day, lift each other’s spirits, stay upbeat and embrace life with kindness.

As the event drew near its end, we penned warm wishes, imagining the joy when our family members receive them…

Then one of our family members sang a song. Amid cheerful vibes, everyone wore genuine, heartwarming smiles. If we string your smile and mine together, we form a circle of oneness, a paradise where “facing the sea, spring blossoms.”

After the activity, members replaced the smile posters in the canteen. These fresh photos show smiling faces blooming like flowers — truly a lovely sight.
