As the calendar renews, everything takes on a fresh look. The glow of the New Year lights up the land and warms our hearts. Over the past year, we may have weathered storms, yet we also reaped growth. Every step forward of the Good-Ark family would not have been possible without all family members who care for and support us quietly behind the scenes!

During the past year, the company further explored the integration of automation, intelligence and digitalisation. We carried out key initiatives including process governance, group budget management and strategic decoding, and successfully rolled out the company’s first employee share ownership plan.

Time bears witness to resolve, and dedication creates brilliance. Guided by customers and the market, the Power Device Packaging Division kept enhancing its capabilities in project development and engineering management. In 2023, seven new development projects were launched, together with six utility model patents and two invention patents. Integrated progress across production, engineering, quality and maintenance fostered a culture of continuous improvement, while the production lines for automotive-grade products underwent full upgrading.

Lay solid foundations and deliver outstanding services. Closely responding to customer demands, the IC Packaging Division lifted production efficiency and standardised operation levels, together with quality process control performance. Twelve new development projects commenced in 2023, yielding four utility model patents and two invention patents. The division reached mass-production milestones for filters and optical sensors, persisting in breakthrough research on Good-Ark’s proprietary core backend semiconductor technologies. With joint efforts from all family members, business results grew against the trend and hit repeated record highs.

Our first project in Suqian entered full operation, and the second project launched this year will go into operation next year. Meanwhile, the company continued its investments in Malaysia. Our packaging cooperation with world-leading semiconductor firms bore fruit, and we signed for a second Malaysian site at the end of the year.

In 2023, subsidiary Jintai New Materials achieved successive record results and won honours including “Industry Leader for PV TOPCon Cell Paste” and “Demonstration Enterprise for Smart PV Supply Chain”. MEMSensing was awarded the “Emerging Automotive Semiconductor Enterprise of the Year” at the 2023 Sinan Technology Awards and recognised as a National Specialised, Refined, Differential and Innovative “Little Giant” Enterprise. The high-power wafer fab project of invested firm Dexin Chips held its grand foundation-laying ceremony in Suzhou Industrial Park in September. The company was named a “2023 Leading Enterprise for Green Development”, jointly awarded by Jiangsu Department of Ecology and Environment and Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce.

Time marks the footsteps of dream chasers. We are all stars in the vast universe, shining side by side and uniting the strength of every hardworking soul.

In the new year, we shall retain our original aspiration, hold fast to our dreams, take diligence as our path and endure hardship as our vessel to set sail anew. We will keep learning and progressing, so that the light of wisdom illuminates the road ahead. We warm the world with kindness and love, and write the happy story of Suzhou Good-Ark with our own toil and sweat.

“No pains, no gains.” For decades, we have “gained harvest with hard work and marched forward with steadfast practice”. Looking ahead, we firmly believe: “Though the road is long, we shall arrive if we keep walking; though the task is hard, we shall succeed if we keep acting.” Our Ark of Happiness will eventually reach the poetic distance we long for.
