Gratitude and Stewardship
On this blue planet, every drop of clear water, every stretch of green foliage and every breath of fresh air are precious gifts bestowed by nature.
As Earth Day approaches, Suzhou Good‑Ark organized factory cleanup and mountain cleanup activities to bring care and protection to its plant grounds and green hills.
If You Cannot Sweep One Room, How Can You Sweep the World?
Preserve a pure land and keep the factory clean; brush away the dust and bring clarity to the soul.
Participants searched carefully along roadside green belts and within compact carports. Even with sweat rolling down their foreheads, they felt no weariness. Good‑Ark people beautify their home with practical actions.
The journey of mountain cleanup begins with tidying the factory, so cleanliness spreads outward from the plant.
Reconnecting with Nature Is Never an Option
On this relaxing weekend, participants set aside their rest time to meet nature at Shushan.
Knowledge Grows in Action, Action Is Guided by Knowledge
Carrying self‑made eco bags, they moved attentively along mountain trails, bending down to pick up cigarette butts, waste paper and plastic bottles. They fished cans and bottles out of green belts; even tiny trash hidden in rock crevices was carefully retrieved. They shared environmental knowledge with passers‑by, advocated civilized outings, spread eco‑friendly ideas with gentle words, and called on everyone to protect these woods together.
Volunteer Sharing
“This activity is meaningful. Even if we influence just one person to build better habits and broaden their horizons, it is well worth it!”
“I remember once when we were caring for the outdoors, we walked up beside a car just as the driver tossed out a cigarette butt. Seeing us picking up litter, he looked very sorry and kept apologizing.”
“During one mountain cleanup, a small child threw trash casually. When he noticed us cleaning up, he picked it up and put it into our eco bag. Then he followed us all the way and helped collect more rubbish. It was so lovely!”
“I gained a great deal today. At first I thought the main path was quite clean, until I realized cleaners had already worked hard there. But when we pulled three full bags of litter out of hidden corners, I understood how important careful work is — and how vital it is to guard our beautiful home.”
What they pick up by bending down is not merely trash, but reverence for nature. What environmental protection passes on is not only knowledge, but also faith in civility.
Environmental protection is never some grand narrative; it is made up of countless moments of bending down. Clean the factory, clean the mountains. Through persistent efforts, we learn that to guard green hills and clear waters, we need both lofty aspirations and down‑to‑earth perseverance.
We look forward to more hands joining to build a promising future for our planet, so every breath carries the fresh scent of green leaves and every land remembers humanity’s tender care.
