- About us
The chirp of cicadas fades and summer draws to an end. The two‑month Good‑Ark Loving Garden Summer Care Program has come to a joyful close amid children’s laughter. From morning sunshine in July to gentle evening breezes in August, the children’s young faces have recorded countless shining moments — quiet focus over exercise books, free creativity with paintbrushes, hopeful anticipation while sowing seeds in the fields, and confident presentations at the closing ceremony… Let us follow the camera and look back on this unforgettable journey!
I. Joyful Learning, Nonstop Growth
In the early morning, children skip into classrooms in the Minglun Building with schoolbags, ready for a fulfilling day. During homework tutoring, they work diligently on summer assignments while tutors patiently answer their questions. At reading sharing sessions, the little ones become “storytellers”, eager to share their favourite picture books and fairy tales.
Bathed in the first rays of sunlight, the children of Loving Garden hopped like happy little sparrows into the pear orchard together with volunteer uncles and aunts to support local farmers. Singing cheerful tunes, they carefully picked golden pears. What their small hands passed along was not merely fruit, but sincere warmth.
What would they do with the money earned from selling pears? It went to caring for the elderly. The children exchanged their earnings for daily supplies and delivered them to lonely seniors in the community. They chatted with the grandparents, gave gentle massages, and told funny stories from the orchard in their tender voices. At that moment, the seniors’ smiles shone like sunshine, and the children grasped the true meaning of sharing and giving.
This age‑spanning cycle of love fills every corner with warmth and touching moments.
Colourful games nurtured the children’s courage, teamwork and creativity. The flea market gave old items a new lease of life and quietly planted seeds of environmental protection and sharing. Amid laughter, confidence and growth bloomed naturally.
I gained knowledge, friendship and growth at Loving Garden. I am grateful for this wonderful time. — Ren Enxi
Thank you, Loving Garden, for accompanying our children with love and wisdom, helping them learn independence and sharing in warmth. We also sincerely thank the company and teachers for easing our worries as parents and helping us balance work and family. — Xing Yifan’s Mum
II. Art and Creativity, Lighting Up Young Hearts
If classrooms are the soil for growth, special interest courses are the brightest sunshine! In calligraphy class, the fragrance of ink carries the gentle reminder to “take it slow”. In dance class, children rise on tiptoes and spin, showing the liveliness of childhood with fluttering skirts. In art class, colourful brushes paint their dreams. In tie‑dye class, materials unfold wonderful patterns in dye. In silk painting class, every child proudly displays their one‑of‑a‑kind “rainbow artwork”.
During Safety & Health Week, a traffic police officer taught traffic rules; an urban management officer introduced waste sorting; a dentist shared tooth care knowledge; instructors from the Red Cross demonstrated first‑aid skills; and the children also visited a fire station, becoming little safety guardians.
Most memorable was the Farm Seedling Week! The children’s eyes sparkled as small hoes broke the soil. They tilled, sowed and watered… Inside this tiny vegetable garden, every laugh and every run embodies the beauty of childhood.
Beyond classrooms, the children traced the threads of history at the Wu Culture Museum and conversed with millennia‑old civilisation at the Soochow Museum. They paused before ancient pottery and brocades, unravelling intersections of technology and humanity in interactive exhibition halls. Every cultural relic serves as a mentor across time, and every story plants seeds of curiosity in their hearts. The world is vast, and the mysteries of culture unfold before their eyes through these tangible traces.
III. Loving Remarks
Wu Aiping, Chair of the Company Labour Union and Manager of the Corporate Culture Department, delivered an address. She expressed sincere gratitude and high respect to all participating Party branches, selfless volunteer teams, and this summer camp programme which has run for six years. We keep guiding children to grow through fun education and will keep moving forward. Feedback will be collected and carefully reviewed to make next year even better!
IV. Farewell and Promise of Summer
At the closing ceremony, the children bid farewell with carefully prepared performances — energetic dance medleys, powerful calligraphy displays, and recitations echoing through every corner of the Minglun Building. When the teachers handed over commemorative albums printed with each child’s smiling face, countless beautiful memories of this summer had already taken root.
The story of the Good‑Ark Loving Garden Summer Care Program has come to a pause, yet love and growth never end. May the warmth and gains of this summer become armour and wings for the children in the new semester, so they may keep shining with courage and passion. Let us meet again next year and continue this lovely childhood story!
