- About us
The late-summer breeze still carries lingering warmth, while early autumn rains have moistened every corner of the campus. At this turning point between semesters, volunteers from Suzhou Good‑Ark carried out two heartwarming activities spanning August and September. They linked corporate responsibility with the tenderness of education, laying a caring foundation for children’s growth.
I. A Visit to Huatong Kindergarten
On August 27, Huatong Kindergarten welcomed volunteers from Suzhou Good‑Ark. Wearing work uniforms and volunteer caps, they stepped onto the campus with professional tools in hand and sincere care in their hearts.
At this moment, education and corporate responsibility are no longer abstract concepts, but tangible, vivid and heartfelt actions.
II. Air Conditioner Cleaning
One team of volunteers quietly entered classrooms and carefully inspected every air conditioner. As the late‑summer heat lingered, their simplest and most sincere wish was to keep cool air flowing alongside children’s laughter.
Removing filters, cleaning, testing and reassembling… They moved gently and focused, as if tending to every precious moment when the children would run, learn and dream here.
III. Getting Close to Nature and the Soil
Another team headed for the “little garden” tucked away on campus, a plot where children connect with nature and touch life. They bent down to pull weeds and loosen the soil. Sweat trickled down their foreheads, yet their smiles stayed bright. They knew soon new sprouts would emerge, fruits would ripen, and the children’s wonder and curiosity toward the world would grow right alongside them.
Yet this care did not end at the kindergarten gates.
IV. Volunteer School Safety Escort
At 7 a.m. on September 1, light autumn rain fell, and the gate of Dashan Primary School turned into a warm “blue scene”. More than a dozen Suzhou Good‑Ark volunteers were already on site. Together with teachers and parents, they launched the Loving School Escort Post to hold up a solid safety umbrella for the new semester.
“Take it easy, little one, walk slowly and watch your step.” The volunteers spoke softly while steadying children who nearly tripped over their schoolbags as they got off electric scooters. They helped carry schoolbags, guided traffic and kept order, making busy morning flows run smoothly at the school gate.
This protection extended beyond the gate. Good‑Ark volunteers also accompanied children from nearby residential communities along their way to school. They reminded pupils to watch for traffic and walked younger students across busy roads until they safely entered the campus.
“Cross the road at zebra crossings!” “Always wear a helmet when riding an electric bike!” Gentle reminders and ready hands represented the volunteers’ simple and sincere care.
Parents praised the effort warmly: “We feel so much more comfortable sending our kids to school with your escort post!” The children also felt this kindness; their tender “Thank you, uncle” and “Thank you, auntie” became the most beautiful sounds of this school opening season.
V. Warm Collaborative Education
Education serves as a beacon for social progress, while enterprises power economic advancement. When they come together, what emerges is not a cold partnership, but warm collaborative education. From air‑conditioner cleaning and garden tending to school‑gate escort and road safety support, Suzhou Good‑Ark demonstrates through concrete actions what it means to be a responsible corporate citizen.
The new semester has begun. May every child grow safely and well under the sunshine of love. May every such partnership between enterprise and school help education go further, steadier and warmer.
