As the vision of "Healthy China" takes deeper root, new wellness services have emerged in response to demand. Rooted in communities with TCM wellness therapy, we cultivate professional practitioners through the "master-apprentice" model and integrate quality resources to safeguard public health and carry forward the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine. We fulfill our corporate social responsibility with concrete actions and contribute to building a Healthy China. Today, let us take you through this rewarding journey of growth.

I. Gathering the Seeds, Setting Sail

On April 28, the orientation meeting for the first batch of "seed trainees" for health masseurs of the company was successfully held. These employees from different departments, driven by passion for the wellness industry, officially embarked on their path to become professional masseurs. At the meeting, Physician Guo Xin detailed the curriculum and emphasized: “Massage is not merely a skill; it requires an in-depth understanding of human anatomy and TCM theories.”

Physician Guo is not only an expert with decades of experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine, but also a practitioner who excels in both medical skill and medical ethics. For many years, Physician Guo has always put patients’ health first. Regardless of conditions or patients, he provides careful conditioning with the mindset of “treating every patient as a close family member”. Patients he has helped recover are spread across the region, and his reputation has long taken root among them.

II. Building a Solid Theoretical Foundation

We still remember the first class. Instead of jumping straight to manipulation techniques, Physician Guo asked all of us to stand up and recite “Sincere Art of Great Physicians” word by word. “Never discriminate by wealth or poverty, age or beauty… Treat all equally as beloved kin.” As we read these lines aloud, we suddenly understood: a good masseur must have not only skillful hands, but also a kind heart.

The training then began with fundamentals of human anatomy, covering bones, muscles, nerves and circulatory systems. It helped trainees master key massage points for common discomforts in the cervical spine, lumbar spine and shoulders. Meanwhile, core TCM theories were integrated, including Yin-Yang and Five Elements, Qi and blood circulation, meridians and acupoints, so trainees could grasp not only techniques but also the underlying principles of conditioning.

“I used to only know massage helps relaxation. Now I understand why pressing a certain acupoint can ease a headache. Combining theory with practice really works!” shared one trainee after class.

III. Hands-on Practice with One-on-One Guidance

“Knowledge from books feels shallow; true understanding comes from practice.” A qualified masseur must master the craft with their hands! During training, trainees focused on fundamental manipulations including pushing, grasping, pressing, stroking, kneading, pinching, acupoint pressing and tapping. They also learned targeted massage techniques for cervical spondylosis, periarthritis of shoulder, lumbar muscle strain and other common ailments.

Everyone devoted their spare time in this period: practicing techniques with the instructor in the daytime and reviewing materials deep into the night. When questions arose, they consulted and supported each other in the study group.

“At first my techniques were clumsy, yet after repeated practice, I can clearly feel better control of pressure and more precise acupoint positioning,” one trainee remarked after the practical session.

IV. Assessment & Certification, Stepping toward Professionalism

As Good‑Ark’s training system continues to mature, trainees have steadily built up professional proficiency through systematic learning and hands‑on drills. In this progressive training journey, we invited senior TCM lecturers to deliver premium courses — rich in theoretical knowledge and clinical experience, designed to be “easy to understand, thorough to learn and flexible to apply.”

This August, a group of outstanding trainees passed the official vocational qualification examination for health masseurs. This is not only solid recognition of their personal capabilities, but also marks a milestone for our talent development model: evolving from internal training toward authoritative external certification, which further enhances objectivity and credibility in talent evaluation.

In early September, the therapy team led by Physician Guo provided free on-site consultations for employees, easing soreness in the lower back from prolonged sitting and calf fatigue from long hours of standing. Many came for consultations; even our international colleagues visited to experience the charm of TCM therapy! Suzhou Good‑Ark offers thoughtful care to build a “health safety net” for all employees.

V. Outlook: Building a Flourishing Wellness Cause Together

The training program for health masseurs boosts employees’ personal skills and forms a key pillar of the company’s grand health strategy. Going forward, Good‑Ark will keep refining the training system so that more employees can master professional wellness skills and deliver higher‑quality health services for the company, local communities and the wider public.

From theory to practice, from internal workshops to official certification, Good‑Ark’s health masseur development program moves steadily ahead. We look forward to seeing these “seed trainees” grow into backbones of our wellness center and guard everyone’s health.
