November is the Fire Safety Publicity Month. The Company’s EHS Department and Family Culture Governance Center jointly organized an activity to console fire rescue personnel. On the 119 Firefighters’ Day, we brought silk banners and consolation supplies to Tong’an Town Full-time Fire Rescue Station for holiday greetings, extending sincere regards and best wishes to the town’s fire rescue crew. Xie Lei, the company’s EHS lead, delivered an important speech on behalf of the company, expressing gratitude and highest respect to all firefighters!

To help employees better understand the significance of fire safety work, we visited the fire station, fire engines & equipment and living quarters, and learned about their work and daily life. With detailed introductions from the firefighters, we learned about the history of fire protection and their heroic deeds. Those touching stories and scenes are precious treasures for us all!

At 19:00 on the evening of November 21, under the leadership of Instructor Li Jiaku from Tong’an Fire Rescue Station, a drill was carried out at the company dormitory (a key safety zone), simulating electrical fire suppression and trapped-person search & rescue. The firefighters’ solid professionalism and efficient fire-fighting and rescue performance delivered a vivid and impressive safety lesson to family members on site. Afterwards, Instructor Li led the team to inspect key areas of the company and offered valuable guidance.

Following the overall arrangement for the company’s Fire Safety Month, targeted emergency evacuation drills were subsequently launched at each production line.

At 14:22 on Firefighters’ Day, the alarm rang and the emergency evacuation drill began. “Hurry up, keep moving, follow the line…” Along with the alarm and evacuation calls, family members quickly stopped their work and evacuated the production area in an orderly manner under the guidance of evacuation wardens, and all reached the assembly point safely.

Participants also practiced the correct operation of fire extinguishers to put out simulated fires. While mastering the fire extinguisher skills, family members gained a strong sense of achievement.

There is a group of people who, regardless of bitter cold or scorching heat, rush to disaster sites without hesitation once an alarm sounds. They protect people’s lives and property with their own bodies, and write songs of youth with professional rescue skills and the commitment to serving the public. They are our respected fire rescue personnel. Within our company, there is also a group of colleagues. Guided by the principles of “Safety & Quality”, they actively advocate that “everyone is a safety officer”, putting safety into action and keeping it firmly in mind.
